Meet Our Photography Team

Festivals of Arkansas Event Photography, or what we call FARE Pix, came about after working as a freelance writer/photojournalist for three years with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette River Valley & Ozark and Three Rivers special sections. The newspaper editor's tragic accident ended my time freelancing with them. My photography path diverted in a new entrepreneurial direction combining photojournalism, lifestyle, event, and portrait photography styles, and then those spontaneous memories are sold in a timeless format.

I thought: Why not take what I’ve been doing for three years with the newspaper but do it with a twist? Now, we use our professional photography skills to not only tell stories about all the amazing festivals and special events we attend, but also give families and others attending those events an option to forever keep a spontaneous moment as specialty-designed framed art for the home from that special event. When I'm not busy with two photography businesses, I just like to get out, walk around this beautiful state, and take pictures for fun. I find it relaxing being in nature. That's how I like to unwind.
